Rob Wise is out in L.A. getting it done at the X-Games. Big ups to Rob for doing all of the crazy stuff he’s been doing lately with a sore back. I noticed a list online and it looked like Rob came in 10th place. So, 10th place, at the X-Games, with a pretty much broken back? I’d say Rob has some serious skills! Congrats Rob! Not too shabby.
I was kinda shocked when I found out that another “public” skate park had been built that was discriminating towards bikes and not allowing them/us to use the facilities. How much longer are they going to drag this on for? Seriously! There are two parks that have been completed just this summer that bikes are not allowed into. So, to retaliate on the matter, tonight (Monday, July 28) there will be a “gathering” of riders to petition the “no bikes allowed” at the new Heber Skate Park, in Heber at 6pm. Local rider, Enoch, will be there to answer any questions and to voice for bikes and petitioning to allow bikes IN the Heber skate park. Please show your support!
Directions: I-80 east, take I-40 towards Heber, follow I-40 into town and make a right on 100 so. Park will be on the left.
Odyssey updated their site about a week ago or so. It’s a really good and intuitive site. I’m a huge fan of the home page layout and the options the site has. You could seriously be on there for hours watching rider videos, lurking photos and reading rider interviews. You can check out some of the 5050 Homeboy’s Team interviews on there as well (Mike Aitken and Matt Beringer). Also Utah part-time resident, Adam Banton has some good content and interviews on there too.
