Today I had the pleasure of riding with Mike Aitken and Jason “Skier J” Eichhorst up at Oakley Park. I’m so damn proud of Mike. He has been through so much with the whole right side of his body coming out of paralysis and being extremely weak. He still had nothing but smiles as he was cruising through the park. About 20 minutes into our session a few kids from Heber City rolled into the park and were clapping for Mike as he would land what used to be the simplest of tricks for him. Thanks Cody, AJ and Randy for supporting and not judging. You guys Rule. Mike is definitely back, but far from 100%. I don’t want this to be misleading, he has a long road ahead of him. But I have no doubt in my mind that he will be back killing it. After all he is MIKE AITKEN…I love ya.

So, tonight a bunch of us were riding at the district when a cop rolled up on his mountain bike. He watched for a minute then told us to have fun and not tear anything up. Haha we thought it was pretty amazing that we didnt get kicked out. Then a couple minutes later he came back in his cop car asking if any of us could ride over his car or grind his bumper and shit like that. So we got Colton Dale to hop up and ride across his hood, it left a pretty good dent too. Then he gave me his email and said he wanted copies of the photos and left. It was cool to have a cop make our night instead of ruin it.

Today was awesome, we had Chad Kagy stopped by and did the demo with us. He was hanging out with Jamie Bestwick, that’s Jamie taking a picture of Chad doing a no hander. Our 1/4 pipe is way sketchy and this was Chad’s 2nd or 3rd go at it, not bad! The whole show was a blast. Shawn Yakovich was blasting and for an 8 year old he kills it. Future pro for sure. Jonsey Fedderson even stuck a 720 and Rob Wise was hopping over Motorcycles and people. It was a good time. For sure.
