What's your first memory of the shop?
My first memory is spending a week breaking up
concrete at the sandy store so we could have
a shitter.
What got you into BMX?
I was 7 at the time and I saw some 15 year old riders
shredding a curb out front of a bike shop in Brigham City and I wanted to do what they were doing.
How many years have you been Pro?
This is my 20th year as a pro.
What's your most memorable event?
Other than my son and daughter being born it would
have to be the day that I got my first cover shot in
BMX action in 1988
How is it being a Dad?
It's a lot of work but well worth it. I feel like my bike
riding has been on pause for the last couple of years
but as my son and daughter are getting older I am
finding more time to get back on the bike and ride
the way that I want to ride... I am stoked to be 37
and healthy enough to still feel this good riding!
Of all your cars you have owned what's your favorite?
My first truck..a piece of shit 1981 Datsun I think because it was my first experience with the freedom that a car/truckbrings to a teenager.
Where do you see BMX in 10 years?
I hope the industry finds a way to support itself better for sure. But as far as riding goes I think it is going to get even more trendy and more judgemental of style. Which sucks! Just have fun.
What exactly do you do for Redline?
It never ends.. Arrange travel for the team, sticker
placement on the riders, keep the site updated, try
to find new co-sponsors for the team, get the ads/photo's arranged before there deadlines. Having input on the product, Arranging the Catalog shoot..Stuff like that all year.

Redline,Ogio,Skull Candy and NBC
What are your thoughts on getting Fuzzed?
Beringer started it when I didn't answer a few of his
phone calls because I let my battery die on my phone
for a few day's because I was so into building my backyard and it got a little out of hand. I really am good about answering my phone..Besides I think everyone has fuzzed someone at sometime.
Explain you perfect session?
It's always on dirt and it's usually in the evening followed
up by a bar-b-que and a few beers.
