So how old are you now? 30 years young
What's your first memory of Fuzzy? I remember seeing a photo of him riding, what looked like a dirt halfpipe/hip, at twin palms. I thought to myself, " that dude is Baaaaaaaaaaad!!!". At that point I was about to buy a new frame, and I wanted to get a Mongoose Solution. It was back ordered though, so I had to settle for a S&M Dirt Bike. Hahahhaha. Looking back though I'm glad it was backordered because I probably would have broken that Solution sooooo fast. It was an aluminum race frame, but I didn't care. I wanted it.
What's the craziest thing you have ever done? Starting a family. But crazy in a good way. Nothing can prepare you for having a child. We took all the classes and read books and got all kinds of advice, but once our little guy popped out, all bets were off!! It's just a surreal, new part of my life that is so amazing.
Who sun burns faster you or Fuzz? Hahahahaa. I'm not sure about Fuzz's sunblock application process but I know mine, and I know that I'm covered pretty good. But if we were to both go naked into the desert with no sunblock, I think he might outlast me.
How is life back in California?
It good, just takes a bit getting used to. Everything was super convenient in Greenville, and I just need to find my routine in Cali. The weather here is soooo much nicer though.
How was it putting together a contest?
It was a lot of work. A lot of planning and stressing, but it was so worth it to see everyone ripping it up during finals. It's going down again next year do keep your ears open and your schedules open.
You've been on top of the game for so long, what's your secret?
I really don't know, but I have a good time, try not to stress, and I'm always tryig to better myself as a rider and as a human being.
Have you been working on any new tricks?
I have this new trick where I try and juggle being a dad, a husband, a good son, a professional bike rider, a ramp builder, and contest organizer. Still waiting to see if I can pull it off though.
Who do you usually ride with? Here in Cali it's Shea Nyquist, Vince Torres, and Oscar Gonzales, Jordan and Brandon from Chunky Trails, Travis Hill, and Jackson Allen.
